As a dance teacher and performer of 15 years, one of favorite and most satisfying roles has been teaching and working with bridal couples. There is no-one that I have met, who cannot dance or cannot be taught. I specialise in taking absolute beginners and getting them dancing [and feeling good!] within the first lesson.

Lessons can be run in a professional studio near you, or in the privacy of your own home, and are usually in one hour blocks. Three lessons is a good minimum (although I have had people call me up the day before the wedding for a crash-course choreography).

Dance Groove specializes in teaching wedding couples and their bridal party/family how to dance. We understand that everybody is different and learns differently. Learning to dance in the right atmosphere is important; you need to feel comfortable and relaxed. That’s why we have created an intimate studio at the Balanced Heart Well-Being Centre, for small groups and private dance lessons.

Music and dance style
Most love songs and ballads are the dance style; Rumba. It’s also one of the easiest dances to learn. Other dances include; Foxtrot, Waltz, Cha Cha Cha, Tango, Mambo, Jive even Salsa. Or, we can choreograph something special to suit you and your choice of music.

Usually anywhere from 4 to 12 one hour lessons will have you feeling confident and gliding around the dance floor with ease.
